Enable Auto-Activate Allows a new authorized user in your organization to automatically self-assign a Standard license when they first sign in (if unassigned licenses are available or "Auto-Purchase" is enabled). See the "User Access Control" section above to control which users could have access (by domain, email, and/or your organization's Active Directory tenant ID).
Enable Auto-Upgrade (default for new users). If user exceeds allowable usage limits for their current tier, Auto-Upgrade will automatically upgrade the user to the next level (if unassigned licenses are available or "Auto-Purchase" is enabled). This option is the default for new users (and can be modified above for each user). It must be checked above for each user for it to apply.
Enable Subscription Requests and Notifications Allows authorized users to request a licence or a license upgrade (if Auto-Activate or Auto-Update are not enabled or if there are no available licenses). Account Administrators will receive an email notification with the request. The administrator can then purchase/assign licenses.
Enable Auto-Purchase Triggers purchase of additional licenses, if Auto-Upgrade and/or Auto-Activate are enabled and if needed to allow user/API usage and if sufficient unassigned licenses are not available. Account Administrators will receive an email notification if "Enable Subscription Requests and Notifications" is checked. Auto-Purchase will purchase 1 credit for a new Standard license, 2 credits for an upgrade to Pro, 5 credits for an upgrade to Elite, and 1 credit for each API upgrade.
By enabling Auto-Purchase, you agree to allow AnalysisPlace to increase the purchased quantity on your behalf in the Microsoft Commericial Marketplace (AppSource) or Stripe. The new amount will apply immediately and Microsoft/Stripe will charge your account a prorated amount for the remainder of your monthly term and will continue for future terms (until you change it). If you reverse the increase within 3 days, Microsoft will refund your added payment.
Account Admins have access to this page and have permission to modify settings on this page for the account (organization). Accounts admins can make purchases on the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace and the purchases/changes will apply to this account. You can have up to 3 account administrators. You cannot remove yourself -- to switch admins: add another admin, then have them sign in and remove you.
Add-in users/authors do not need to be account admins.
Enter emails of any additional admins (separated by comma), then click "Add"Add-in Admins can manage advanced add-in features such as business templates (and workbook management, workbook protection, and workbook version control). See details. Add-in Admins will see the "Adv" tab in the add-in; which allows them to manage the Advanced featues.
Most add-in users/authors do not need to be Add-in Admins. You should limit the number of Add-in Admins to avoid conflicts.
Enter email(s) of any additional Add-in Admins (separated by comma), then click "Add"
The AnalysisPlace API (Application Programming Interface) enables programmers to create/modify applications (any language) to generate template-based documents. The app would submit content (text, tables, images, etc.) in a standard JSON format and the API would return updated Word or PowerPoint documents. Any .docx or .pptx document "Linked" using standard AnalysisPlace add-in links can be used as templates. See https://analysisplace.com/APIs.
API admins will see the "API" tab in the add-in. It allows them to: upload/manage API templates, test API submits, and view required JSON formats and view/test sample JSON data.
Most add-in users/authors should not be API Admins (to avoid confusing users)
Enter email(s) of any additional API Admins (separated by comma), then click "Add"
API keys are needed to use/call the Document Generation and Calculation APIs. They are not needed to use the add-in.
Add New KeyNote: if you delete an existing key, any application or user that uses that key will no longer be able to use it.
Admins can disable/disallow user uploads of content and documents. This will only allow regular Word Updates (which is what most users need to do in most companies). It will disable any operation requiring content uploads, including: any Cloud updates, PowerPoint updates, Personal Templates, Business Templates, and API operations within the add-in.
User content is very safe. Uploaded content is encryped in transit and at rest. It is automatically deleted every day. AnalysisPlace never transfers content off the server. Only 2 AnalysisPlace employees (the owners) have access to our production servers. No one else can access the user's content. There has never been any security/privacy incident. Disabling uploads is not typically necessary, but can be done to comply with corporate security policies.
Note that Office Add-ins are Cloud Services and require Internet access and user authentication. Authentication data, user profile data (e.g. their email address), and usage data are always submitted to AnalysisPlace servers.
Before disabling uploads, ensure your users have the required Office versions to enable 'Direct' transfers. See https://analysisplace.com/Resources/Transfer-Method.

This API retrieves a list of all purchased SaaS subscriptions for all offers that the publisher publishes in the commercial marketplace. SaaS subscriptions in all possible statuses will be returned. Unsubscribed SaaS subscriptions are also returned because this information is not deleted on the Microsoft side. The API returns paginated results of 100 per page.
Subscription ID:
List available plans: This API retrieves all plans for a SaaS offer identified by the subscriptionId of a specific purchase of this offer. Use this call to get a list of all private and public plans that the beneficiary of a SaaS subscription can update for the subscription. The plans returned will be available in the same geography as the already purchased plan. This call returns a list of plans available for that customer in addition to the one already purchased. The list can be presented to an end user on the publisher site. An end user can change the subscription plan to any one of the plans in the returned list. Changing the plan to one not in the list will fail.
